Tobacco cigarettes are one of our the leading causes of preventable death in this country and throughout the world. Over 400,000 people are killed each year in America alone from tobacco use every single year. The American Cancer Society says that cigarette deaths top alcohol, car crash, suicide, homicide, AIDS, and illegal drug related deaths combined. Fortunately research and technology has provided us with a safter alternative for our nicotine addiction. Simulating the feel of cigarettes as well as the process of smoking, electronic cigarettes do not contain tobacco or the poisonous chemicals found in normal cigarettes.

The electronic cigarette is made to replicate the experience of smoking a tobacco based cigarette. Electronic cigarettes have a nicotine cartridge, and when you take a big drag of the device, a battery powered atomizor vaporizes the nicotine with some water vapor and you breath it in. Within a few seconds, the nicotine hits your system, killing cravings. When you exhale, water vapor drifts into the air with the look of cigarette smoke and none of the yucky smell. There is an led light at the end of the electronic cigarette that lights up when you take a drag adding to that authentic cigarette look and feel. Electronic Cigarette Supporters Call Foul On FDA “Fraud And Death Administration” Actions

For anyone that is a cigarette smoker, the electric cigarette is one of the best things ever to come along as a replacement for smoking tobacco. Notice the word replacement. Electric cigarettes companies do not market the product as a smoking cessation device or aid even though it can be used as such if a smoker wanted to implement it that way. It does seem that the e-cigarette is being scrutinized and criticized a lot more in trying to gain approval by the FDA ( Fraud And Death Administration ) in comparison to many other products. There are weight loss pills and stop smoking pills that have absolutely horrifying side affects, including organ damage and even death, that seems to have easily gained FDA approval. Most of these products are still being sold even after the many complaints and law suits being filed against some of them. You might see lawyer advertisements on television advising anyone who has suffered damage or the death of a loved one in relation to using some of these stop smoking pills or weight loss pills to sue these companies. These products had and still have FDA approval.

It would seem that since the FDA is so against tobacco smoking, or at least they say they are, that they would be all for approving a product that can help people that smoke deadly tobacco stop. The nicotine that the electric cigarette provides for a smoker should not even be an issue since there is plenty of nicotine in tobacco, which is legal, and also in many of the stop smoking aids such as inhalers, gum, and patches. So, what is the problem with approving the e-cigarette that cuts out carcinogenic smoke, tar, and only delivers the nicotine to the smoker?

Supposedly the delay in approval of this nicotine delivery device is because there is a fear of some sort over the chemicals that are used to make the nicotine solution. So far that is all we have really heard as an argument for the delay in approving the product. This is really laughable. Given the fact that there are thousands, literally thousands, of chemicals in tobacco and it would be hard to count how many of them are totally deadly, and the fact that there is evidently not going to be any ban or outlawing of tobacco now if ever, makes it very funny that they are trying to imply that there is a real danger in using the electric cigarette. It is like comparing someone jumping off of a bridge into a raging river to someone jumping off of a step into a puddle, tobacco being the raging river and the electric cigarette being the puddle.

The only danger that many electric cigarette users and makers can see is that the tobacco companies will have some real competition from a product that is probably one hundred times safer than smoking tobacco and the pharmaceutical companies might have to lower the price of their own nicotine products that are supposed to be helpful in quitting smoking, even though the success rates of using these products are questionable to say the least. If the FDA wants to help smokers, they should not deny them an alternative to tobacco smoking. If they will allow the newest stop smoking pills that can cause suicide and a ton of other negative side affects to be legal, then why in the world would they deny smokers the right to use an electric cigarette if they want to? There must be some good reasons for their lack of real testing and approval of this product and smokers and electric cigarette users would really like to know what those reasons are.
